Vocal Activation Experience II
A 6-Week Journey to Awaken the Power of Your Voice
Led by Scarlett de la Torre
Your Voice Is a Sacred Portal, a living key to healing, transformation, and truth.
Vocal Activation Experience II is a 6-week online mentorship for women ready to liberate the voice and awaken their body’s innate intelligence through sound. This journey weaves together timeless vocal techniques, sacred sound traditions, and nervous system healing—supporting you to embody your voice as a potent tool for personal and spiritual expansion.
If you’re beginning your vocal journey or deepening your path, this is a homecoming to your authentic sound.
Scarlett has led hundreds of women through vocal opening—guiding those with zero experience into fully embodied ceremonial singers, sound healers, and medicine music facilitators. This experience is particularly supportive for women moving through psilocybin microdosing protocols, as a vocal meditation practice combined with fresh neural networks unlocks creative flow, supports new ways of being, and cultivates vocal sovereignty.
We explore sacred chants and sound meditations from ancient traditions in Sanskrit, Hebrew, Latin, and beyond, alongside healing songs in languages such as Portuguese, Spanish, and others—offered in a respectful and reverent way. Through mantra, resonance, and new vocal scales developed by Scarlett, you will access a deeper current of healing, clarity, and confidence within.

Why our method works
Your voice is directly connected to your vagus nerve—the command center of your nervous system. When you tone, chant, and hum, you activate deep states of calm, safety, and healing. Through this sound-body technology, you can reduce stress, soften emotional armor, and support the body’s natural rhythms—including hormonal balance, fertility, and creativity.
Through structured voice training, ancient mantra, and nervous system-informed facilitation, this experience invites you into a more attuned relationship with yourself—one breath, one tone, one truth at a time.
Here are 10 scientifically supported facts about how using the voice—especially in combination with meditation—positively impacts the brain, nervous system, and fertility:
1. Vocal Sounding Stimulates the Vagus Nerve
Humming, toning, and chanting directly stimulate the vagus nerve, a core component of the parasympathetic nervous system, which governs rest, digestion, and reproductive function.
Source: Porges, S. (2009). The Polyvagal Theory.
2. Chanting and Humming Increase Parasympathetic Activity
Studies show that vocal practices like OM chanting and humming increase parasympathetic (rest and digest) dominance, resulting in lowered heart rate, increased heart rate variability, and improved emotional regulation.
Source: Kalyani et al. (2011), International Journal of Yoga.
3. Vocal Meditation Reduces Cortisol (Stress Hormone)
Chanting and singing have been shown to reduce cortisol levels, which can be beneficial for fertility since high cortisol is linked to disrupted ovulation and lowered reproductive hormone production.
Source: Fancourt et al. (2016), Frontiers in Psychology.
4. Group Singing Releases Oxytocin
Singing in groups increases the hormone oxytocin, which plays a role in bonding, reducing anxiety, and supporting reproductive readiness. Oxytocin is also vital in the processes of childbirth and lactation.
Source: Keeler et al. (2015), Psychology of Music.
5. Sound Meditation Improves Brainwave Coherence
Meditation with vocal toning (e.g., vowel chanting) can synchronize brainwave patterns, promoting theta and alpha states, which are associated with creativity, healing, and deep rest.
Source: Lagopoulos et al. (2009), Cognitive Processing.
6. Vocal Resonance Activates Deep Brain Structures
Chanting and vocal vibration stimulate the amygdala, hypothalamus, and anterior cingulate cortex, regions involved in emotion regulation, autonomic function, and hormonal balance.
Source: Newberg et al. (2010), Neuroscience of Meditation.
7. Toning and Chanting Improve Respiratory and Cardiovascular Function
Controlled breathing during vocalization (like long exhalations in toning) enhances lung capacity, heart rate variability, and oxygenation, which supports the endocrine system and reproductive health.
Source: Bernardi et al. (2001), British Medical Journal.
8. Vocal Meditation Reduces Anxiety and Depression
Regular vocal practices significantly reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, both of which are common in individuals navigating fertility issues. Alleviating these symptoms can restore hormonal harmony.
Source: Goyal et al. (2014), JAMA Internal Medicine.
9. Singing Enhances Neuroplasticity and Emotional Resilience
Engaging in vocal exercises improves neuroplasticity, helping the brain rewire pathways related to confidence, self-expression, and emotional resilience—vital for navigating fertility journeys with greater ease.
Source: Särkämö et al. (2013), Frontiers in Human Neuroscience.
10. Vocal Toning Increases Blood Flow to the Pelvic Region
Certain vocal frequencies (especially low resonance tones like “Mmmm”) can increase blood flow and relaxation in the lower abdomen and pelvic floor, which supports the reproductive organs and uterine receptivity.
Source: Therapeutic Sound Research by Dr. Jeffrey Thompson; confirmed in pelvic floor physiotherapy observations.
